Problems when installing or activating the web site

Problem

The web-server is not responding after the DVI System International Server is installed .

Solution

The Plass.Id.Web site is often refusing to start if the web server port is used for other purposes. Try to check if other web sites are using port 80 or port 443.

Some programs reserves IP ports when they are running.

One example is Skype which is reserving port 443 for itself, so you won't be able to run the DVI System with HTTPS in a stand-alone mode on a computer where Skype is running. You must exit Skype and stop it from receiving messages before the DVI System (Plass.Id.Web) site is started, or you will get an error in the event-log.
