Troubleshooting AD setup

The setup of Active Directory authentication can sometimes cause problems when assigning roles to AD groups.

Confusion as to who is member of which group and what rights the user might receive from the system, often occurs.

To help us support this kind of problems, we will need:

  1. The content of the authorization_INT.config file
  2. The relevant content of the Debug log after the user has logged in: See Logging for further info on how to obtain the log. Remember to disable the Debug log after use, as it might slow down the server.
  3. Save the log to file:

    1. Click on
    2. Give the file a name and save it as a .csv file.
  4. The AD user name.
  5. The result of the SQL Query:  SELECT * FROM [setting].[Role]
