Design reports

To modify an existing report, mark the report and click "Design".

The Report designer opens.
With the Report designer module (DevExpress)

• Labels can be added or edited 
• Graphics can be added
• Text can be formatted and repositioned
• Data displayed in the report can be configured and bound with data in the database .

There are two types of labels:
Free text labels - used to describe data in the report, and Data labels - which are linked to data from the database. The data is displayed when the report is generated.

The layout, appearance and position of the labels can be configured using the DevExpress designer tool.

To modify the header label "Electronic Devices (350)" to a BOLD Arial Font size 12, mark the header as you would in a Word processing program:

Change the text to "Electronic Dev (350)"

Choose font Arial, size 12 and push the button.

Leave the field and click .

Preview the report by clicking "Preview" button:

All changes will be saved for future use.

If you at some point wish to return to the original template, click the "Reset report design" button, and the report will have obtained its original state next time you open the designer.
