Ribbon Menu
The main navigation tool is the ribbon menu on top of the screen.
The ribbon menu is built from a series of tabs representing the ribbon pages, and each page is then divided into page groups holding the menu items.
If the size and resolution of the screen does not allow for display of all page groups, some of them will be collapsed into drop-down items.
Several tabs are arranged in coloured tab groups that are context sensitive and will appear and disappear depending on the active context. In example, if the search results (the File Manager) is open, you have an extra visible tab group concerning operations on the highlighted file in the File Manager.
The important elements are:
File (backstage)
with possibility to view recent files, create a file, edit nominal data of the active file, print INTERPOL forms or reports, get help and modify the language options.
Home
which displays the forms navigation and frequently used commands during updating of the active file.
Reconciliation
with direct access to matching options and possibility to display identity reports.
Administration
with access to manage Users, Containers, Agencies and other background registers.
and finally File Search which is a tab group covering the search of files and described in a separate article.
